『Hot Bepper』北浜のおでん屋いかちゃん

今年も残りわずかですね...。

今回は独りでもあっっったかぁーーーーくなれるお店を紹介します！

Hello! Wow, it’s already midst of December…

Good news to those who have no plan on Christmas (no dates? great!) !!

We have some HOT spot we want to tell you!

その名も北浜のおでん屋「いかちゃん」です。

It’s “Ikachan,” Oden (Japanese hot pot) place.

夜の八坂レンガ通りを歩いていると「おでん」と書かれた赤ちょうちんが目を引くお店を発見。

吸い寄せられるように店内へ。

4.5人で満席になるような昭和の懐かしさを感じる店内。

気さくな店主が一人で営業をされています。

おでん鍋には数々の具材が所狭しと並んでおり、見ているだけでヨダレが溢れてきます。

Very old fashioned, yet warm place, where only 4, 5 people can barely scooch in.

Just one owner, and in front of me, I see lots of ingredients in the pots, radish, eggs, fish cake… yum.

すると一際目を引くものを発見！！

雪のように塩がまぶされたゆで卵です。

店主に塩を理由を尋ねると特に意味はないの一言。

殻を剥いた時に指に付いた塩で卵を食べるのが「いかちゃん流」の食べ方とのこと。

And WOW! There’s hard-boiled egg fully covered with salt, it looks like snow covered.

I asked the reason why it’s covered in salt, and the owner just said it’s just “Ikachan way” of eating the egg. Eat the egg, and lick the salt on your fingers... hmmm.

メインのおでんも豊富な具材と良心的な値段で、学生でも気軽に立ち寄れそうです。

出勤途中の夜の蝶を横目に食べる熱々のおでんは最高でした。

The prices are really reasonable so students (who are strict with money? lol) can also come by and enjoy the meal.

勘定を済ませ、記念にパシャリ。
