APU生がいつもお世話になっている売店APU CO-OP、別名お山の上のコープ！

どの大学にも必ずあるコープですが、APUのコープは他の大学には置いていない物がたくさん置いてあります

APU CO-OP provides a lot of things which other Univ. CO-OPs in Japan don't have.

1. International Food

約80カ国から生徒が集るコープにはインドネシアのミーゴレン、ナシゴレン、タイのナンプラーなど普段輸入食材屋さんでしか見られないような代物も置いてあります。

また、イスラム教の方でも安心して食すことができるHALAL Foodもたくさんありますよ！日本食に飽きてきたなぁという国際学生の方も心配する必要はありません！

As you know, APU has students from around 80 countries. Therefore, they sell international food such as Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng from Indonesia and Fish Sauce from Thailand. In addition, they provide HALAL food for Islam people too so those students can also find food easily.

2. Fair Trade products

発展途上国の原料や製品をその商品にみあった値段で継続的に販売し、発展途上国の現地の労働者に適正な賃金が払われるような商品を取り扱っています。他の商品より値は張りますが、品質は非常に良く社会貢献にもつながるので皆さん是非購入してみてください！

Fair Trade products are the products from undeveloped countries, which are sold with the right price. Those are a bit more expensive than normal Japanese products but you can try them since they are in really good quality and you can also contribute to society.

3. 日常雑貨 Daily necessities

1,300人が寮を隣接しているAPUのコープでは学生が寮生活で不自由しないよう、日用雑貨も充実しています。特に新学期のこの季節には新入生が買い物しやすいように108円の日用雑貨がたくさん置かれているので、下界に行く時間がない！という方はCO-OPをご利用ください。

Since APU has the dorm on campus, APU CO-OP has many daily necessities such as shampoo, spoon, pods and so on. Because it is the beginning of the semester, they provide many things with only 108yen right now! If you don't have enough time to go down town, you can always go to CO-OP.

4. APUオリジナルクッズ

大学オリジナルグッズはどの大学にもあると思いますが、APUの大学グッズにはタイカレーなど他の大学とはひと味違った商品が置いてあるのでチェックしてみてくださいね！スウェットは新学期の時期売り切れする事が少なくないので今すぐ欲しい方は早めの購入をお勧めします。

APU has their own products too. For example, t-shirts, cookies, and Thai curry. Many people bring them back to their country as Omiyage(souvenir )

5. Books

日本語と英語両方で行われるAPUの授業に合わせてもちろん教科書も両言語そろっています。APUのコープメンバーになると教科書やマンガ、雑誌を含む全ての書籍が10%OFFになります。特に英語開講の教科書は高い物が多いので、10%OFFは非常に大きいです。

知のナビゲーター（日本語開講）は新1年生全員履修必須のワークショップ教科書ですので毎年一度目のワークショップの授業の後には在庫が不足しています。必ず購入する事になるので売り切れてしまう前にもう購入してもいいかもしれませんよ。

APU offers classes both in Japanese and English so they sell text books in both languages as well. If you are the CO-OP member, you can get the books with 10% off. Especially, English books imported from out side of Japan are really expensive. Therefore, we highly recommend you to join the CO-OP member to get the discount.

6. 旅行カウンター / Travel Counter

レンタカーをしたい時、大阪までフェリーで行きたい時、どこかへ旅行へ行きたいときはひとまずCO-OPの奥にある旅行カウンターに相談しに行ってみてください。コープでしかもらえない学生割引やお得なプラン等、ネットよりも安く旅行券が手に入れられるかもしれません。

When you want to rent a car, or if you want to travel somewhere, you should go to the CO-OP travel counter. The staff will help you to get the cheaper tickets and they sometimes offer very good plans.

7. バスチケット / Bus Tickets

大分交通のバスで別府駅からAPUまで来ようとすると片道560円、往復1,120円もかかってしまいます。そんなときはCO-OPのハイカウンター（旅行カウンター横のレジ）へ行って「トリプルください！」と言ってください。トリプルとは大分交通の別府市内全線のバスが格安で乗れるチケットの事です。3枚綴りで1,000円なので普通にAPUからバスに乗るよりお得です。また、その他にも亀の井バスの一日乗車券や福岡、大分空港行きのバスチケット等学生価格のチケットがたくさん置いてあります。

From APU to Beppu station, you have to pay 560yen if you use the bus. However, if you have Triple ticket which is sold in CO-OP, you can get 3 free bus tickets only with 1,000yen! Moreover, you can find 1day bus pass and bus ticket to airports and Fukuoka with students price only in CO-OP.

上記でちらっとご紹介したコープメンバーですが、入会すると書籍以外にもお得なサービスがたくさんあります。例えば100円購入ごとに1pointたまるポイントシステムでポイントがたまったら現金をもらえたり、コープメンバー限定セールがあったり、旅行をする際に割引がきいたりとお得な事ばかり！ご加入をおすすめします！入会には国内学生は15,000円、国際学生は5,000円かかりますが卒業時に全額返金されます。また、国際学生については無料で印鑑も作成出来るサービスがついています。4/2-4/10までコープ売店前の階段横にブースが開かれるので国際学生はそちらに、国内学生は旅行カウンター横のレジまでお越し下さい。

If you become the CO-OP member, you can get a lot of discounts not only with the books but also with the every shopping and traveling. Domestic students have to pay 15,000yen and International students have to pay 5,000yen to register but you can get them back when you leave APU. Also, International students can make your Inkan(Japanese seal) for free so please come to the booth in front of CO-OP from April,2nd to 10th from 10:30-16:30.
